Failure to Obtain a Permit
Unfinished Areas or Work that was Started or Completed without Proper Permits
Below is a list of requirements to obtain the permits now:
- Fill out an appropriate permit application.
- Provide a report from a Professional Engineer for any structural work completed without proper inspections.
- Provide an investigative notarized report from a General Contractor or a recognized Insulation Contractor verifying any of the following which were installed without proper inspections: insulation type(s), baffles and any required air barriers. (This report can also be provided by the Professional Engineer of record, if applicable.)
- Provide an investigative notarized report from a licensed electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical contractor per trade inspection for work completed without proper inspections.
- Double permit fees will apply for any work started or completed without proper permits.

- The construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, movement to another site, removal, or demolition of any building.
- The installation, extension, alteration, or general repair of any plumbing system.
- The installation, extension, alteration, or general repair of any heating or cooling equipment system.
- The installation, extension, alteration, or general repair of any electrical wiring, devices, appliances, or equipment
