Naloxone (Narcan) Training

Join Johnston County Opioid Task Force and Selma Police to learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose! Naloxone training is offered throughout the year.
Free Narcan Training in Four Oaks
The Johnston County Opioid Task Force and the Selma Police Department are offering a FREE Narcan Training session for all community members.
When: Monday, February 23rd, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Where: Four Oaks United Methodist Church
This training is open to everyone and will teach you how to recognize and effectively respond to an opioid overdose.
Narcan (naloxone) is a life-saving medication that can rapidly reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Attendees will receive a free dose of Narcan to take home.
The Opioid Task Force (OTF) holds quarterly meetings to facilitate collaboration and share essential updates on community feedback, data analysis, Opioid Settlement Funds, and available resources.
We encourage you to attend the 2026 meetings to ensure active community collaboration. All meetings will be held at the Johnston County Public Health Department on the following dates:
