Hours and Location

The Johnston County Animal Control Department is located at 115 Shelter Way, Smithfield, NC 27577, and is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We close for lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM daily.

The Pet Adoption Center is open Monday through Friday by appointment only.
The Adoption Center is also open every 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from by appointment only.
