Master Plan 2040

An Airport Master Plan is a long-range planning document that serves the airport, airport users, and local community. The Master Plan’s essential purpose is to evaluate current and projected aviation growth and identify improvements that satisfy the demand, as well as customer expectations, over a 20-year planning horizon. Johnston Regional Airport completed its Master Plan in 2022, setting forth a strategic vision and development plan reflective of our community’s values and goals.  Air Transportation is a vital community industry, and we appreciate your interest and contribution towards Johnston Regional’s future success!
